My last post was more than two months ago. For someone who made a solemn, silent vow to blog at least once a week, this is unacceptable. I apologize to whomever it is — aside from my wife — that may be following my “work”.
The problem is I’m holding myself accountable to no one. That, and I’m being a lazy jerk. Every time I’ve achieved anything of note, it’s happened because I’ve talked about it in person and online to everyone I know. The thought of backing down after making such bold proclamations kept me on the straight and narrow. Shame is a powerful motivator.
So hear me out, people. From this day forward, I will be updating this blog every Thursday morning, if not more often. If I fail to do this, may 1000 plagues curse my very existence until the day I die. Tough terms, I know, but serious action demands serious consequences.
I will also be sending out my monthly newsletter on a regular basis, the first day of each month starting in February. What’s in this newsletter you ask? It’s a roundup of all the links I send to my private clients and professional colleagues. I do my best to stick to topics pertaining to fitness and health, but every so often I toss in some other cool stuff. I also include at least one book recommendation. I like books.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me during this last year. Here’s to making the most out of 2017, despite the fact that the world as we know it is going straight to hell.
